Virtual care medicine is no longer an option for healthcare providers and patients alike. In order to avoid costly missteps - it is imperative you know how to navigate the complex regulatory landscape.

Today’s COVID-19 pandemic has pushed to the forefront virtual care and highlighted the challenges and legal risks.

This ½ day session provides you with an overview of the current regulatory framework, the risk associated with virtual care, as well as practice tips to help you manage these, and minimize liability exposure. This timely session will also discuss the anticipated regulatory reforms, including guidance on the following:

Program Changes

We will make every effort to present the certificate program as advertised, but it may be necessary to change the dates, location, speakers or content with little or no notice. In the event of program cancellation, York University and Osgoode Hall Law School’s liability is limited to reimbursement of paid fees.

Cancellations and Substitutions

Substitution of registrants is permitted at any time. If you are unable to find a substitute, a full refund is available if a cancellation request is received in writing 14 days prior to the program date. If a cancellation request is made with less than 14 days notice, a $75 administration fee will apply. No other refund is available.
