This program is part of the Deconstructing Ontario's New Construction Act Series.
On October 1, 2019, the new Prompt Payment & Adjudication regimes will transform the fundamental way that construction projects operate in Ontario. You need to be prepared.
Designed and delivered by an expert faculty of construction lawyers and industry specialists – many of whom helped to write the new law – this program will provide the critical information and practical strategies that owners, general/major trade contractors, subcontractors, trades and suppliers need to confidently adapt to the new prompt payment and adjudication regimes and to manage risk.
Fees include attendance, program materials, lunch and break refreshments.
OsgoodePD offers group rates for both on site and webcast formats. Please note these are only available when registering for members of the same organization, at the same time, and payment is made with one invoice.
We will make every effort to present the certificate program as advertised, but it may be necessary to change the dates, location, speakers or content with little or no notice. In the event of program cancellation, York University and Osgoode Hall Law School’s liability is limited to reimbursement of paid fees.
Substitution of registrants is permitted at any time. If you are unable to find a substitute, a full refund is available if a cancellation request is received in writing 14 days prior to the program date. If a cancellation request is made with less than 14 days notice, a $75 administration fee will apply. No other refund is available.

“Highly qualified presenters who were well prepared [and offered a] variety of perspectives.”
“Lots of good information as well as insights. All speakers were appropriate for and well-informed on the topics of the program.”
“Very good overall. How daunting this will be for an industry better at building things than [at] process [and] costs will go up to implement all of this.”
“I was very pleased with the online offering of the program – convenient and did not require any additional travel or accommodations.”
If you require accommodations in downtown Toronto, OsgoodePD has arranged Corporate Rates with several hotels within walking distance of our downtown conference centre.
