Join an experienced, multi-disciplinary faculty from across Canada and Australia to discuss current challenges, new laws, and ways to improve the criminal justice system as it affects Indigenous people.

The way that criminal courts address the realities of Indigenous people who appear before them has changed dramatically in the over 20 years since the Supreme court of Canada decided R. v. Gladue. The response to that decision has reverberated not only across the country, but across the globe as well. At the same time however, the national statistics on Indigenous over-representation continue to worsen.

Co-Presented with Aboriginal Legal Services.

Registration includes 120-day unlimited, online access to the recorded program.
