Are you equipped to tackle the issues affecting classrooms today?

Professionals across the Education sector—from educators, to administrators, to school board officials and lawyers—are dealing with rapidly-shifting policies every day. In this dynamic context, you need a solid understanding of the laws governing the education system.

The education environment you work in is more demanding than ever. The Ontario school system and its governing legal framework continues to evolve as new challenges and issues arise. Using case studies and real-life examples, this OsgoodePD program has been developed by experts in education law to provide a foundation in the most pertinent legal issues confronting educational professionals and legal advisors today.

You will learn strategies and gain knowledge that you can apply immediately. Long after the course is over, the course materials will serve as a valuable resource.

This is a required course for the Certificate in Education Law. Due to administrative changes, all required and elective courses for the Certificate must be completed by August 31, 2024.
