Message from the Program Director

I am extremely proud to be the Program Director of this program. As a former international student myself, I appreciate the desire that international students have to learn about international business law, the challenges
facing them in the process of learning, and the pride and confidence they obtain at the end of the process.

Osgoode’s LLM in International Business Law should be the number one choice for international students for many reasons.

Jinyan Li, Program Director

Firstly, Osgoode Hall Law School is one of the leading law schools in the world, home to some of the world’s leading scholars, the largest law library in the Common Wealth, and one of the world’s most dynamic and stimulating learning environments. Secondly is the design of the IBL program; it aims to help students learn, not only the cutting-edge knowledge about key areas of international business law, but also the fundamental skills of communication, problem solving, research and writing, as well as professional skills and ethics. The third reason is the faculty; our instructors include award-winning professors and leading practitioners who share the passion of teaching international students. Finally, it’s the students we attract. Thanks to the program, students help each other, learn from one another, and some develop
life-long friendships. As such, the program offers students a place to learn as well as a place to grow. I look forward to welcoming you to the program.
