Doug Harris, BA, MA, SJD, is Vice President and Associate General Counsel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC). Doug is responsible for providing legal advice and assistance to management and staff of IIROC on operational, transactional and regulatory issues, as well as developing and implementing strategic research initiatives in support of corporate objectives. Prior to joining IIROC, Doug was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and was the Director of the Capital Markets Institute. Between 1994 and 2000, Doug practiced at Torys (Toronto), specializing in corporate and securities law for technology companies.
Douglas Cumming, J.D./Ph.D./CFA, is an Associate Professor and the Ontario Research Chair at the Schulich School of Business. In the past 10 years, he has published over 50 papers in leading academic journals, as well as a dozen book chapters, 3 books, and numerous public policy and consulting reports. His expertise are in the areas of valuation, venture capital, private equity, IPOs, market regulation and surveillance, and law and finance.

teaches strategy and leadership in the MBA and private client programs at the Schulich School of Business, where he was nominated for Professor of the Year in 2005 and 2006. Bruce also maintains an active external consulting practice. Until 2002 Bruce was CEO and president of a publicly traded, materials technology company that he founded in 1992.
Bryan Hayday is an Instructor in the Non-Profit Management and Leadership Program at York’s Schulich School of Business. Bryan teaches courses and workshops on Innovation, Leadership, Change and Complexity, Stewardship and Long-Range Scenario Planning. Through the Schulich Executive Education Centre, Bryan is the Program Director for the new Masters Certificate in Integrated Health Leadership.
Claude Lamoureux is one of Canada’s business leaders and corporate governance advocates with more than 35 years of executive experience in the financial, pension and investment industries. Mr. Lamoureux was the inaugural President and CEO of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. From 1990 until his retirement in 2007, he oversaw Teachers’ development into one of the world’s leading pension plans with more than $100 billion in net assets.

Beppino Pasquali, B.B.A., C.A. , Program Facilitator, Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC), is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in accounting and taxation for small to medium sized companies. Beppino lectures in the Kellogg-Schulich EMBA and MBA program in the field of financial and managerial accounting at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada. He also lectures in the Kellogg-Recanati EMBA program in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Dr. L.S. (Al) Rosen, Rosen and Associates Limited, Litigation and Investigative Accountants; Professor Emeritus of Accounting, Schulich School of Business, York University, has been an instructor and professor of accounting at the University of British Columbia, the University of Washington, the University of Alberta and York University, and has provided expert testimony or affidavits in jurisdictions across Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Rosen is the author or co-author of several texts on accounting and hundreds of articles in numerous publications.
Robin B. Schwill is a partner with Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP specializing in insolvencies and restructurings. Robin has also been an award-wining part-time finance lecturer at Schulich for over 15 years and has written and presented extensively on financial statement interpretation and transparency issues.
Ajay K. Sirsi, PhD, Associate Professor, Marketing, Schulich School of Business, York University, teaches Strategic Market Planning, Marketing Management, and Marketing Research in the MBA and BBA programs. He teaches executive management classes in Brand Equity, Marketing Management, Pricing Strategy, and Marketing Strategy and Sales Planning in the Executive Development Program at the business school.
Atipol Supapol, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Economics Area at the Schulich School of Business. Previously, he was Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, New York, New York. Prior to that he was Managing Director of NatWest Securities Asia (Thailand), NatWest Markets, NatWest Bank. He has been a consultant to the Canadian government, the government of Thailand and the United Nations.
Professor Edward J. Waitzer, Jarislowsky Dimma Mooney Chair in Corporate Governance, Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business, and Senior Partner, Stikeman Elliott LLP. He
was Chair of Stikeman Elliott from 1999 to 2006 and is a senior partner whose practice has focused on complex business transactions. He also advises on a range of public policy and governance matters. He has served (1993-1996) as Chair of the Ontario Securities Commission (and of the Technical Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions) and (until 1981) as Vice-President of The Toronto Stock Exchange.
