The Law Society of Upper Canada and Law Society of British Columbia, for example, consider participation in an LLM course as an eligible education activity which fulfills members’ annual CPD substantive requirements (ie. 9 of the 12 required hours). A select number of LLM courses have been accredited for professionalism hours and are indicated on the schedule.LLM courses fulfill substantive CPD requirements and professionalism hours, if applicable, whether they are taken without assessment (audit) or with assessment.
